Capital of the Asur Misoa Barony. An old city with lots of stone blocks and street paths. Built around a huge cathedral dedicated to the legacy of dragonkind.

Stonehall is a grand and venerable city on the northern shores of Eren, a place where the weight of history can be felt in every worn cobblestone and ancient archway. Built around the Cathedral of the Eternal Flame, the largest and most magnificent dragon cathedral in the Drekaya Empire, Stonehall is a city steeped in reverence, tradition, and architectural splendor. Though its age shows in its weathered facades and cracked stonework, the city possesses a timeless beauty that continues to inspire awe.

At the heart of Stonehall rises the Cathedral of the Eternal Flame, the jewel of the Drekaya Empire’s spiritual and architectural achievements. This colossal structure is said to have been built over centuries, its design evolving with the reigns of successive dragonkin rulers. The cathedral's exterior is a masterpiece of carved stone, with towering spires that seem to pierce the heavens and elaborate bas-reliefs depicting dragons, battles, and celestial events. Its central dome, crowned with a gilded dragon statue, shines brilliantly when touched by the sun or moonlight. Inside, the cathedral is even more breathtaking. Vast stained-glass windows depict scenes from dragonkin mythology, their colors casting radiant light onto the polished stone floors. The centerpiece is the Eternal Flame, a mystical brazier kept alight with fire that attendants keep burning at all hours. Many believed the brazier to be a gift from the ancestors of the dragonkin. Pilgrims travel from across the empire to kneel before the flame, offering prayers and seeking blessings.

Stonehall is a city of faith, history, and resilience. Its people are proud of their heritage, deeply connected to the dragonkin traditions that permeate every aspect of their lives. The residents are known for their piety, often observing rituals at the cathedral or participating in festivals that honor the dragonkin ancestors. One of the most celebrated events is the Day of the First Flame, a grand festival commemorating the founding of the cathedral. The city comes alive with processions, music, and dragon-themed performances, culminating in a spectacular ceremony at the Eternal Flame. The city's history has also made it a center of learning. Scholars flock to Stonehall to study its ancient archives, which contain records of the empire's rise and the dragonkin's sacred lore.

Last year, the ruling leader of the city and the Baron of the Asur Misoa, Darius LaCronus, was assassinated by two unknown assassins. The event shook the entire city, as a large portion of the cathedral went up in flames as well. Reconstruction of the cathedral continues at a steady pace, and the High Priest of the Cathedral itself, Father Neilan Vosk has stepped away from his position amongst the clergy to instead step into the role of leading the Asur Misoa as its new Baron of Asur Misoa.
