Bell's Hallow

The ruined remains of a quiet sanctum in the woods of Nokmar. Was founded by a member of the Drekaya Warden's Guild who specialized in combating dark creatures. Vampires were responsible for uprooting the town and destroying all that was there.
Bell’s Hallow, an unofficial name for a small hamlet north of Leefside, was a modest settlement with a reputation for being a safe haven amidst a region once plagued by darkness. Founded around 160 years ago by Samuel Bell, a retired member of the Drekayan Wardens Guild, the settlement became a symbol of resilience in the face of fear. However, it would ultimately meet a tragic fate at the hands of Vampires, leaving only whispers of its existence in the surrounding lands. After years of service contributed to the Wardens Guild and Drekaya, Samuel Bell sought a quiet life for himself and his family. He settled in a secluded valley north of the cursed lands, choosing an area believed to be just beyond the reach of the sinister creatures rumored to haunt the south. With skill and determination, the Bells carved out a life in the wilderness, their survival becoming a beacon of hope for others in the region. Inspired by their success, other families followed suit, establishing homesteads nearby. However, the lingering fear of the cursed lands to the south kept the settlement small and insular.

The hallow earned a reputation as a refuge from the dangers of the night. Locals spoke of Samuel Bell’s knowledge of combating creatures of the night, as well as warding and protective magics, passed down through his years as a Warden, which supposedly kept the beings of darkness at bay. Travelers often sought shelter there when passing through, trusting in the safety of the hamlet. Samueal and his family aslo had an integral part in the bolstering of the efforts of the Church of Nightfall, who fought shared enemies. The Bell family contributed swaths of training and techniques to the Church in order for their clerics to better takeon vampires in the night. Despite its tranquil facade, Bell’s Hallow was not immune to the dangers of its surroundings. Vampires, long believed to be myths or confined to cursed lands, uprooted the small haven, laying waste to it's citizens and turning the town into a pile of cinders.
