Starrm

Starrm was a male Brentaalan Human who lived and intended to die on Brentaal III. As a family man who was intensly proud and intensly xenophobic, Starrm was disapproving of his son Kampl who left home and joined The Crimson Storm. Starrm had another son, Kirk, and a wife, Naria.   Starrm was an aged human man with worn skin and a scraggly beard.  

History

 

Family Disagreements

  In 12 AGE, Starrm discovered that his son Kampl had been harboring a rebel named Asallia on their property for days. The woman being a rebel and an alien was enough for Starrm to immediately distrust her. He told Kampl that he would allow him to continue hiding her from the empire, however as soon as Kampl made a trip into town, Starrm called the empire to his homestead and Asallia was arrested. After a long argument, Kampl left Brentaal III on a transport he had arranged for Asallia.  

Family Reunions

  Kampl returned home briefly in 19 AGE to visit his mother, Starrm's wife, who had become sickly. He arrived with Wav'vijiod and Kokomi Teruhashi who Starrm, unfortunately, saw first. He burst the door of the homestead open with a slugthrower pointed at the three of them. Kampl revealed himself went inside to visit his mother where he established a tentative peace with his father. Starrm's wife Naria died weeks later.   In 20 AGE, ISB Agent Fius Maru arrived at the homestead and informed Starrm that Kampl and the people he was travelling with, The Crimson Storm, had become high-profile fugitives of The Galactic Empire. Starrm did not know his son's wherabouts and so Maru struck a deal with him. Kampl would be visiting Brentaal in a matter of months to attend his brother Kirk's wedding, Agent Maru promised not to give Kampl impunity when they arrested his crewmates in exchange for Starrm's cooperation.    The empire failed to capture The Crimson Storm and, in fact, only arrested Kampl. This betrayal enraged Starrm but he was left to stew in his dispair until The Storm arrived on his homestead to get the truth of what happened to Kampl. Starrm told The crew of The Storm his own warped version of what happened, and blamed everyone from the storm themselves to the ISB. Fius Maru then arrived at the homestead with a squad of Purge Troopers. The Storm began to fight them and Starrm took the honor of finishing off Maru.   

Life as Refugees

  After The Crimson Storm rescued Kampl from the empire, they returned to Brentaal to ensure the safety of his family. Starrm, Kirk and Ahura were brought to Spintir where they became refugees. Starrm was difficult and unapreciative at every turn, despite becoming a fugitive already by attacking the Empire. Kokomi endevoured to make their lives on Spintir as comfortable as possible by building housing for them.
