Aslan Clans

Aslan Clans The Aslan are a proud, honor-bound, and territorial species, organized around powerful extended family groups known as clans. Each clan functions as a political, military, and economic unit, often controlling multiple worlds or entire subsectors within the Hierate.   Clans vary in size and influence—from vast noble houses that sit on the ruling Tlaukhu council, to ambitious minor clans seeking glory through expansion or warfare. Clan identity is everything to an Aslan; loyalty, land ownership, and reputation are bound to their name. Males typically pursue land, war, and status, while females dominate trade, governance, and administration.   Within the Aslan Hierate, these clans shape diplomacy, fuel expansionist drives, and compete for dominance across the stars. For outsiders, understanding a clan’s position, history, and code of honor can mean the difference between a successful negotiation—or an accidental declaration of war.
