Geography

Dicrilia is covered mostly in forests and plains. In Val-Hesia and Ma'ker there also exists mountains and deserts. Notably one of those deserts is the glass spires desert. In Vseria marshes are common due to year round flooding.

Spanning most of the border between Vseria and Ma'ker lies "The Titan's Bridge", a mountain range that is said to have been created by The Titans Creation, Titan of Light and Destruction, Titan of Darkness. The Titan's Bridge, or as some call it, The Bridge, is said to be the way that the original Val-Hesians traveled to Val-Hesia.

Cosmology

Dicrilia has no moon but instead has the planet Iethea, also known as The Abandoned Isles by the Waterwalkers. Iethea translates from the old tongue to common as "Paradise". From what is known about the lost histories Iethea was the god's first attempt at paradise for humankind. During Iethea's golden age a calamity struck the world known as Algathi. Algathi corrupted many of the humans causing demons and devils to come to life. Algathi's influence also twisted those near him in strange ways creating many of the races we know today.

The gods and the nations of Iethea pulled together and made one last stand against Algathi which resulted in the creation of "The Halo" which replaces our sun today. The Halo is what became of our sun after the final battle against Algathi; It appears to be a void sorrounded by a halo of light hence the name. After trapping Algathi, the gods and mortals fled the realm because this world was twisted into Hell incarnet. The world they created to house the mortals and gods was dubbed "Dicrilia" which translates to "Last Chance".
