Weirdsight

Light from multiple moons over short lengths of time. As Three Moons, One Sky draws closer it becomes easier and easier to briefly be afflicted with Weirdsight.

For a variable time, from seconds to hours, Weirdsight will show someone other worlds and dimensions. While in affect the whites of the afflicted's eyes seem to glow with purple light. There is no indication that whatever is on the other side is able to perceive the viewer. There is no way of knowing if it is past, present or future. Species that were not human were sometimes seen. Some with small differences, delicate features and pointed ears or short, stocky and with full beards, while others are so vastly different some feel they are demonkin. A few perceive The Outer Dark and denizens bound there. Those that suffer that vision are almost always driven mad.

If the Weirdsight takes you there is no relief till it ends. One can take steps of never letting moonlight from multiple moons touch them but that is all.

While this is not confirmed there is a growing theory, namely within the Colendol Order and among the Moonsong Society that those most likely susceptible have some trace of magic or magical heritage within them.

When creation first occurred many worlds and planes were created. It is all but impossible for mortals to traverse between these locations. However from time to time certain celestial situations occur to change that. Given the rarity of such events the conditions that spring from their occurrence are unknown to those who would first suffer them. One such celestial situation is known as Three Moons, One Sky. As it draws nearer and nearer the expanse between worlds and dimensions will grow thinner and thinner. And with multiple moons in the sky closer and closer it means the chances of Weirdsight occurring grow more and more likely.
