The Lunadorn Rangers
"You see a group of Lunadorn Rangers scouting a length of road then you know a Dongui Caravan is not far behind." trade maxim of Astegil
After The Fall the world was in turmoil with roads clogged with refugees or armies. To ensure safe travel for their Caravans The Dongui began hiring Lunadorn hunters and trackers to lead them through dangerous territories. As the years passed this practice was utilized more and more until every Dongui Caravan had several families of Lunadorn with them to serve as scouts, trackers and to help defend the caravans. These Lunadorn became known as Lunadorn Rangers. The relationship has helped both the Dongui and The Lunadorn to weather the Fall and thrive on the other side.

Culture and cultural heritage
The Lunadorn were nomadic hunters and trackers. They either traveled alone or whole family groups and every combination in between. They keep alive an oral tradition to such a degree that every adult Lunadorn more then likely knows all the tales and stories of their people. It is understood among the Lunadorn that as long as at least one of them lives then the story of their people lives.
Since joining The Dongui Caravans they have found vast new audiences that crave their stories. This above all else caused some of the Lunadorn to join with the Dongui. It allows for their stories and their history a greater chance of enduring.
Common Etiquette rules
With most outsiders, the Lunadorn are people of few words. They are polite enough but they keep a clear distance from outsiders. With those they deem true friends and other Lunadorn they relax and are far more open. It is important to catch up when they encounter one another. Only the most dire of situations will keep two Lunadorn from spending hours relating everything that had occurred in their travels since the last meeting.
The Lunadorn Rangers have become open with all Dongui as if they were all trusted friends. Centuries of scouting for the Caravans and the Dongui's hospitality have created a firm bond between the two people.
Common Dress code
The Lunadorn Rangers still wear the customary leathers of the Lunadorn but have switched from woolens to cotton clothing due to less need for such overly durable garb.
Art & Architecture
The Lunadorn, since loosing their homeland, have evolved singing and storytelling into high art forms. That was the only art form practiced for millennia. Since joining Dongui Caravans and becoming the Lunadorn Rangers a rise in painting and other tangible art-forms has been seen.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
They adhere to the customs common to all Lunadorn. Whenever they encounter other Lunadorn as their caravans move they always spend copious time relaying all they have seen and taking note of all the encountered Lunadorn has seen.
There exists a bit of a standoffish relationship between the Lunadorn, those who follow the nomadic path of their ancestors, and the Lunadorn Rangers who have joined the Dongui Caravans. They each still adhere to the same customs but the Lunadorn are concerned with the possible dilution of their people by mixing with others. The Lunadorn Rangers still adhere to the customs of only seeking other Lunadorn to romantically partner with. This has mollified the Lunadorn but they remain vigilant to any change.
Common Taboos
Theft. Like all Lunadorn, the Lunadorn Rangers deal with a thief among their numbers aggressively and without mitigation.
