Utopian Ansible

The Utopian Ansible is an Ansible being constructed in the Utopia System. It is one track to become the very first such construction even built outside Civilized Space. Uniquely, it will be constructed, not for the purposes of transmitting orders to military or government vessels, but as a means of spreading the Parditech discoveries made by the peoples of the system to all friendly listeners. This means that the Utopian Ansible is a significantly more difficult construction in terms of logistics and passing receivers out to beneficiaries throughout the the Frontier and Civilized Space. However, it promises to become one of the most important communications facilities, if not the most important, in the entire galaxy. If it can be successful, it is believed that the Utopian Ansible might be the catalyst for a new age of unity.   Unlike most other ansibles, the Utopian ansible appears to be under construction from scratch, as opposed to the hollowing out of a captured planetoid. This is due to the delicate gravimetrics of the Utopia System, which cannot stand up to a major disturbance in the delicate orbital balance of the pentagonal worlds. This means that the Utopian Ansible is much smaller, less massive and to some extent more poorly armored than the more traditional planetoid ansibles that exist in other locales. As it is under construction many facilities have not yet been installed, though an initial psionic training facility and residential complex does exist to prepare the psionic cadre that will run the facility when it is completed, alongside housing for the facilities construction workers. It is currently being safeguarded by the bulk of the Utopia System Defense Fleet, to avoid any sabotage, making it one of the best protected facilities in the Pardian Frontier.
