Magic Conduit
Magical Conduits, a production of Cosán na'Draíochta, are any item through which one channels magical energy for increased efficiency - by lowering the cost of the magic, increasing the output, decreasing the necessary time to cast a spell, or any other such effects (or combinations thereof). Examples include: staves, wands, orbs, tomes, and scrolls. Though not technically a part of Cosán na'Draíochta, the Talismans of Cosán na'Biotáille are also Magic Conduits in the fact they hold a spell effect for singe-use effects, continuous effects, and the like.
Utility
The uses of Magic Conduits are varied, ranging from things like making a spell cost less energy for the caster to storing spells or energy for later use at no cost at all.
Manufacturing
The manufacturing of Magic Conduits depends on the type of Magic Conduit in question. Gemstones require little to no processing for instance while staves and tomes can be expensive and complicated to create.
Access & Availability
Most Magic Conduits are understandably seen within Fásach Draíocht or Na'Conairí, though variations devoted to Cosán na'Biotáille can be seen in Talamh Biotáille as well. They're not rare, however, and just about every magic-user in Ihmisen Keh'to has one - though the quality varies. One notable exception which is nearly ubiquitous, however, are gemstones which are renowned for storing energy.
Complexity
Magic Conduits are a simple, yet effective, tool within Cosán na'Draíochta. Usually they're just made of materials which are good for the desired effects in a way which makes casting a spell more efficient.
