Dimidia University

The Dimidia is an arcane university in Nebograd, established in 24 AE by an association of mages known by the same name. While originally focused solely on the magic schools of abjuration, conjuration, divination, enchantment, evocation, illusion, and transmutation. It offers examinations at different levels of study (in order of complexity): beginner, novice, waystage, and intermediate. Alumni may continue non-structured study at the Dimidia. Additionally, the Dimidia will teach short courses of single cantrips or beginner spells.   The most impressive graduates usually apprentice themselves to senior faculty, serving as tutors to younger students and continue their studies with the great masters of the school.   While the Dimidia does have an evocation department, it is deemed a less robust programme than the one on offer in Fenellore.

History

The Dimidia was founded in 24 AE by a group of displaced wizards who had settled in Nebograd, comprised of: an enchanter called Alouet Averroes, an abjurer called Smayusad of Chariot, a diviner called Toff Rhaetus, and a conjurer called Iserin Lectorum. Years prior, each were contacted in a dream by Nebesa to come to Rrinultok Valley and preserve what knowledge of magic had survived the rising mists.   Quickly, the Dimidia attracted educators from other disciplines of magic, expanding to all schools (with the exception of necromancy). Eventually, in 912 AE, a bard college was founded within the Dimidia to facilitate a growing cultural interest in music in Nebograd.

Staff

The current headmaster of the Dimidia is Minneus Tempier, the first bard to be headmaster of the school.
