Layagbanwa
A port town at the southern tip of Balugo, Layagbanwa is the last or first haven depending on one’s course; a resting place after nearly a thousand miles of open sea. Traders, pilgrims, and imperial couriers alike pass through its bustling docks. It is often called the Gateway to the Southern Region, and is famed for its welcoming rituals and sacred seawater baths said to wash away the salt of misfortune. The entrance to the harbor is marked by the lighthouse named Parola Tultulan (The Guiding Light).
