The Broken Tooth
The Broken Tooth is in two parts. The base of the mountain and the peak which was knocked off it which lays askew not far from the base.
Before the Occlusion, Goliath tribes lived on the slopes of the big mountain while the dwarves lived under it. At their peak, was a Snow Elven castle. During the Occlusion, a "God" knocked the elves from their perch. This event killed the elves and most of the Goliaths in the event. The Dwarves took in the surviving Goliaths under the now shattered mountain known as the Broken Tooth.
Today, people of dwarvish and goliath descent live here. Those of taller stock typically act as guardians to the rest of the tribe. The tribe numbers about 45 people currently. Their people finally gaining an upper hand against the giant spiders that have preyed on them for generations.
Recently, a pair of ShadowFey Hunters who look like tall bearded Goliaths from the surface have convinced the tribes that the Fey are at fault for their woes. Clearly, the leader of the spiders must be some Fey-being.
Ecosystem
The Giant Spiders in the caves live off of various humanoid enclaves that mostly live off of fungai and fish.
History
An Ice-Roc with the ability to create an icy-meteor swarm tried to settle on the Elven castle. When the elves fought back, the Roc blasted them with swarms of ice until it had knocked the mountain peak clean off. The Roc, having ruined its potential nest, flew off.
