Vethranyai - Wormland

Drow and Shader-kai who evacuated the drow cities to live in the caves. The Drow cities were quickly thrown into chaos and overrun by demons and spiders when Lolth's influence wavered during the occlusion.
The settlement is in the body of a purple worm whose outer shell isn't rotting. The worm died when rocks collapsed and trapped it's lower body in its nest. The worm eventually starved.
The mouth of the purple worm is well guarded.
The people live mostly off of mushrooms that they grow inside the worm. They also occasionally hunt various small creatures in the worm tunnels.
Some people of drow heritage that are born here sometimes have a werespider curse. This usually shows around ages 3 to 4. Anyone cursed is sent into exile to live with the other werespiders. There are usually between 2 and 20 were spiders. Currently, there are 6. They are too afraid to bear their own children and supplement their population only from Vetranyai exiles.
