Pawston Shadow

While many of the Tabaxi and Leonin stand taller than your average human, there are a few that are… more compact, so to speak. What Pawston lacks in height, however, he makes up for in grit, tenacity, and that “shit that won’t quit”, so to speak. A native of the Eastern Pridelands, the Coalition he represents has the highest rate of successful hunts against the Pridelands deadliest game. Pawston, however, doesn’t seem to fit the mold of the lethal, stealthy hunter. He carries no weapons and wears no armor save for his wrapped fists. Every hunter needs a good ol’ bruiser to support them, aye?
On the outside, Pawston is flirtatious and rough around the edges. If a threat or challenge is issued, he’ll follow through and he expects those who issue them to do the same. He has no qualms talking ill about Faust’s people; they’ve wreaked havoc upon his people’s lands. If you get past his rough exterior, however, he seems to have genuine sympathy for Diamond and doesn’t want to see her harmed. His sympathy, however, doesn’t extend to the Menseya nor to Pyrus, who he sees as provoking Faust. If Pyrus had well and truly took the higher road rather than fuel the fire of the feud… maybe some villages on the Eastern border would still be there. Maybe Diamond wouldn’t even need to endure this trial. With how his opinions could be seen as treasonous if discovered by the wrong person, Pawston tends to keep his distance from the Menseya… though he doesn’t back down if they approach.
