Geography
Occitanie is a verdant and mountainous province nestled between the frigid peaks of the Razorbacks to the north and the warm, endless expanse of the Jangtel Ocean to the south. Though situated near the equator, Occitanie's climate is uniquely tempered by the icy influence of its towering northern range and high-altitude glaciers. This rare combination has made it a place of strange contradictions—lush jungles pierced by alpine ridges, tropical deltas fed by glacial meltwater, and coastal mists touched by snow.
To the north, a jagged, glacial mountain range that claws the sky, the Razorbacks act as both a natural barrier and a climate regulator. Their steep, near-impassable passes guard against invasion from the hordes and tribes of the Razorback Mountains beyond. Their high glaciers feed rivers that nourish Occitanie's valleys and terraced hills. Snow remains year-round above the "White Line," and avalanches in the spring are both feared and revered.
