Lady Calistra Vexmoor died four years ago, drowning during a private bath in House Vexmoor's private estate. Though no foul play was discovered, some speculate an allergic reaction or unseen magical complication. Attempts to raise her failed—why remains unclear.
Her death broke Darius in ways even his pride could not mask. Her daughter Vaerra has worn the House's burdens ever since.
