Auradir Rylin

Auradir was large for an Elf, standing at 6'2" and having 200 lbs of pure muscle. Given the confident aura he carried, he looked larger than life.

Early Life

The legendary figure was born to Auralon I and Auralana in the 477th year of the Age of the Storm. Throughout his early life, Auradir showcased his martial prowess, demonstrating a massive amount of raw natural talent, particularly with the sword. Throughout his early life, Auradir worked alongside his father, transforming Maiden's Enclave into a haven for the free folk of Eldux fleeing the Fallen's Forces. Due to the conflict, Auradir recieved extensive training in swordplay, archery, martial arts, and other forms of combat. From the first time he held a sword, he has had a natural talent, and even his first training sword at the age of 6 was an extension of his arm. Already before he reached the century mark, Auradir had raised his sword against Orc Raiding parties in defense of his people.

Receiving Dawn

As the Storm entered its 7th century, the Maiden began several projects to help frustrate her brother's continued advance against her Elves. One of these was working with the Smith on crafting several legendary blades imbued with great power, power enough to help the Free Folk stand against the coming Storm.

Defender of the Valley

In 700 A.o.S., Auradir led the defense of Maiden's Enclave against the Orc Invasion during the Battle of Citadel Pass and the Siege of Mauribon. During the Siege, it was rumored that he fought seven orcs at once and slew each one of them.

Rider of the Storm

Auradir led the Free Alliance Elven contingent into the storm's heart to confront the Fallen. His ability to continue to fight and thrive within this landscape earned him the name "Rider of the Storm".

Steward of the Seasons

Auradir was appointed as the first Steward of the Seasons following his return from the conflict and the loss of the Maiden. This appointment lasted until his death in the year 247.

The symbol of House Rylin originally was the personal standard of Auradir, flown during the Storm, and was adopted by the Elemental Enclave as the official standard after his death. Auradir is remembered as the Champion of the Eldar long after his death, and warriors are still measured by him today.

Auradir officially ruled the Elemental Enclaves as the 1st Steward for 247 years.

He oversaw the transition from a loose coalition to a strong and enduring Federation between the ancient tribes. He first established the Council of Mauribon with seven members, and while the titles have evolved, each Steward has maintained a council of seven members, following this tradition.

He began the construction of Maiden's Light and Maiden's Stand to help bolster the defenses of Mauribon against future invasions.
