Black Market
Black markets do not usually trade in currency, preferring other modes of payment. If they do accept traditional forms of currency, it would be hard currency. Preferring local currency in most cases, but they some may accept hard Credits $C.
Instead of currency, the black market tends to trade in valuable resources or gems. This can be fuel in a backwater area where it's hard to come by. Gems are quite common as a trade currency, as well as precious or rare metals. Examples below would vary demand, especially resources, in different areas. For example, Grain my have a high value in some remote outposts.

Typically, this type of deal can be difficult to find. Some areas will have an actual marketplace with vendors, while others it's a back room of a more legitimate business.
