Leeboar Islands
Nestled into the northern part of Leeboar Sea lies several islands of varying size. They are uninhabited by the population of Nicandria but others have taken residence on the islands, protected by the rocky outcrops that only experienced captains can traverse a ship through. There are some small peaks, a few forests and open plains that fill the islands but they are not all easily accessible as they have high cliffs around them.
Geography
Demoncliff/ Voidcliff
The northern Island is said to house the demoncliffs, a place where brave sailors become timid cowards. While the Islands are filled with high cliffs, the north side of the northernmost Island is said to be a special cliff filled with strange markings. Some say they are a magical ritual, carved into the stone, which is cast upon any who sees it. Others say that the cliff bears the marks of Hades and carry its essence. Regardless of the reason, what can be agreed upon is that anyone who gazes upon the cliffs is said to lose their emotions. Brave sailors have turned into husk simply sailing the sea without purpose. Even though it is said to be a cursed location, there are still many people who go there for various reasons. Lovers who want to prove their inseparable bond, scholars seeking understanding of magic to grow and adventurers that believe something great must be hidden behind a force this strong. Few people have ever spoken about the cliffs as the people who have been there have never cared about them afterwards.History
The story of Drakrim
During the 24th century a dragon called Drakrim had settled upon the highest peak of the islands and subjugated an army of wyverns. They posed a massive threat to the emerging cities on the sea as ships would rarely be able to be on open water for long before the wyverns came and broke their ships. The situation left the settlers no choice but to ignore Leeboar Sea as it was ruled by Drakrim. This lasted for several decades until the end of the 24th century when the sea had frozen over. The details of what happened are not recorded in any history book, only the aftermath. A lone swordsman is said to have come from the north, travelling across the frozen sea through the domain of Drakrim. When a flight of wyverns decended on him he tore through them leaving their bodies upon the ice. As he continued, more and more wyverns came from the peak in an attempt to kill him, forced by the orders of Drakrim. The swordsman continued, slicing through the wyverns until he reached the dragons peak. At this point is blade had already drank the blood of over a hundred wyverns and now it was time to taste dragon. The battle was over from the moment it started because Drakrim felt something he had only forced other to feel, fear. Although he wanted to escape, greed and a false sense of superiority instilled over decades forced him to remain by his hoard. Drakrims blood colored the walls of the lair and gave the golden coins a red coat. The swordsman is only recorded in history due to his blade, Fangmourne, which was crafted by a dwarf in Botrusberg who wanted to know the legacy of his greatest work made for an unknown swordsman. The smith proclaimed that no other blade could have cut down all those wyverns, but neither the blade nor the swordsman could be found to confirm the tale. Some say that the swordsman travelled on, leaving only bodies behind while others claim he died on the islands, leaving the blade behind for anyone to find.
