The Ivory Confederation gained several other companies as members, but about half of them defected and took their territory with them. The Confederation went on a drawn-out and bloody rampage to take them back, though they conquered a few unrelated ICGs along the way as well. They won the war in the end, but Johannsen Arms stayed a separate ICG, so they weren't totally successful.
