There are three stories to the tavern, with places of interest surrounding the tavern within the partially completed wall. There is always the noise of construction, as the wall is a work in progress. It seems to be progressing rather quickly, given that only one giant and one horse are working on it.

Purpose / Function

To give the residents of Grímsdalur a place to drink and for travelers to rest.

Design

The main structure of the tavern is very much like a Viking longhouse, with an immense longboat turned upside down to form the peak of the roof. The dragon figurehead of the boat stares upside down at guests as they enter.

Entries

There is a set of double doors carved into the wood the ruins are written in Surgi that reads "Open hearts, Open doors".

Architecture

Defenses

Entry to the tavern grounds from the bridge is guarded by Vilgeir Guttisson. There is a partially completed stone wall around the tavern; it is currently being worked on by a frost giant with the aid of one horse.

History

It was first built by Gutti in 3645 after he came back from war. It Flourishes as Grímsdalur expands and grows along with The Bear Clan. Recently it has been staffed and run by the Skullsoar Dynasty.
