Personal history
King Tythen III Yordt was the last great Serk-tamer of the Yordt line. Following on from his father Ayrin's legacy, Tythen was regarded as brave but foolish. After the death of his uncle, King Tythen II, Tythen became king. However, Tythen II's wife, Caetina, and her family, the Bostirönes, saw themselves as more deserving of the crown as they had helped Tythen II secure it.
However, the First Treaty of Waidako ensured the succession legally went to Tythen III, and he had more legitimacy than Caetina amongst the nobles, despite the early death of his father Ayrin. The other Lords of the Gap also preferred Tythen, seeing him as a weaker candidate, leading to his installation as king.
However, Tythen proved to be unpredictable as well as a great Serk-rider. He would help instigate and then fight in the Swamp War. Tythen's mounts were last of the Serkosi mother breed, effectively ending the species when the last one was killed from under him in battle.
Tythen had three children of his own, Tythen IV, Yulya, and Kloy. Tythen himself died in battle in 4 AT.
