Samira, formerly a Master of the Discipline of Dust of the Shemsu-Ra is a brilliant academic, and has an interest in the occult. She spent her life gaining expertise in the peoples and cultures of the region surrounding Y'Matara. By the age of twenty-four, Samira Ament graduated from the Obelisk Academy considered an expert in anthropology. Her ability to connect local archaeological objects with their culture context was unrivaled, so after her graduation, Samira Ament became a teacher at the Obelisk Academy and a field scholar, accompanying members of the Shemsu-Ra groups on digs in the area. During the events of Session 002 - Malevolence of Anub-Ka - Samira hired the heroes to retrieve the Eye of Anub-Ka from the Bureau of Civic Relics after she was expelled from the Shemsu-Ra. The heroes were successful, and Samira Ament secured the artifact, which was actually an eldritch horror egg, into an unbreakable case.
