Runic Magic

Runic magic is a type of magic which relies on carving runes in the "language of the gods" onto a surface to later release a spell. Runic magic is much more time consuming than regular magic because the runes must made while concentrating on the magical intent desired. Runic magic can be used to transcribe runes on any surface, and the runes do not necessarily need to be physical, though this takes more skill.  

[old] Many may confuse Runic Magic with Imbuement Magic as many of their qualities overlap, but their are things that only Runic Magic can do, such things are writing magical words and scrolls. The magic categories for Runic Magic are as follows: Elemental, Gravity, Magic Scrolls, Magic Writing, Summoning, Traps, Seal(strong), Spell Absorption/Reflection(Fixed). In the case of scrolls, the power of the runes that are required to learn and understand a spell are transcribed on a Magical Scrolls and then someone looking to learn or deepen their knowledge of a spell can read from this scroll and learn it almost instantly, though their are some prerequisites one most undertake first before reading from the scroll.....
