Magical Scrolls

Magical Scrolls are created to help others learn spells they cannot yet perform or help deepen their already existing knowledge. For one to create a scroll they must first have a deep knowledge and understanding of the spell they wish to transcribe on the piece of parchment as well as a great amount of magic for if one is to write down their knowledge in runes(and have it work correctly) they must pour a great amount of their magic into making the scroll. Scrolls only really help a magic caster in the short run, it allows one to understand a spell well enough to cast it or deepen an experienced user's knowledge of the spell, it is not a short cut to becoming a true master of that spell or of magic, as magic works different for everyone and plays off that person's intent, feelings, and understanding of the world around them, this is why scrolls are most often used by novices more than by those who are adept at magic.
