Oumaderen

Oumaderen was the pre-Kosmevair religion of the Cloriadmen, which is no longer practiced. The modern successor to this faith is Tweledism. Oumaderen was focused on merging the proto-Kosmevair gods with Eriaist teachings. This is because it emerged during a tumultuos time for the Cloriadmen. Around 1000 BC, the Metsamish people began to believe that their gods were either not listening, had been slain, or never existed at all. This led to much fear and religious violence between the Metsamish people, and contributed to their downfall. When the Metsamish ancestors of the Cloriadmen were driven into the saltmarsh and later merged with proto-Fremedhians, their two faiths came together. The proto-Kosmevair gods supersceded the old, dead gods of the Egrivalad, but the majority of the teachings of Eriaism were preserved and became a part of the new Oumaderen canon. Over time, the religion diverged further from Kosmevair. When the first Kosmevair missionaries arrived in Cloriadme during the 1200s, they were shocked that the Cloriadmen had similar gods to them yet a totally different cosmology and method of worship. Over time, the Kosmevair way of doing things came to prominance, though the old way of things was not entirely forgotten, leading to the manifestation of Tweledism.
Despite its similarities to the Kosmevair gods, Oumaderen was not a Dre'an faith as its cosmology is completely different. It was essentially the old Metsamish religion with a new panthon of gods placed atop it. This patchwork background explains why it faded quickly upon exposure to Kosmevair.
