Edra of Titan's Hand
Edra Darkhair (a.k.a. Edra of Titan’s Hand)
Edra of Titan's Hand was a halfling warrior and hero from Titan's Hand in Miennach during the 1st century of the Counted Years. At this time, Titan's Hand was a small, unimportant fishing village, the only visitors being researchers exploring the stone hand there.
Edra spent her early years travelling across Syoll as an adventurer, joining a small group of others, named “The Ratcatchers”. She became famous after she slew Ajash-Khorsk, the Rotten-Toothed Devourer where Chagred now stands.
When the Frost Forces attacked the Winterlands, Edra had not even reached adulthood. She and her group ignored the conflict for a while, continuing their adventures, but Edra grew more and more intrigued by the War of Frost. Eventually, in 41 CY, she split from the Ratcatchers and joined the war, quickly proving her genius both in battle and in strategy.
By the year 57 CY, she had ascended to the uppermost ranks and devised a new strategy against the Frost Forces and a national plan for training and organisation. This considerably strengthened the Syollan army, providing better-trained soldiers and more complicated battle strategies.
After the defeat of the Frost Forces, a still very young Edra seemed to have great things lying ahead. She found her old travelling companions and together they continued their adventures. However, only about two years after the end of the war, Edra and her group voyaged into the Neverending Mountains, from Amridge. Upon their return, she passed away, affected by a strange and unidentified sickness.
Edra was buried along by the water at the outskirts of Titan's Hand, and a statue erected in her honour.
