Personal history
Hald, the Prophet, was created along with the first of the Choirs, where He went on to form his own Choir from the visions of death and destruction that he saw in the future. So far along were his visions, that he could not see the truth of the matter in front of him.
Through His curiosity to explore, Hald would venture into the void. He would go on to be the Angel that the Lurker deceived, informing him that his wife, Esteele, would lead a rebellion of demons against all of creation and destroy it. In his blindness, Hald did not understand that untruths could be spoken, and so he aided heaven in preparing their arms and armies.
Hald would retire from the Eternal War after untold years of war, retreating to the edge of the cosmos to contemplate all he had seen and done.
Hald would return in time to save Eldraeon and the brothers from the Lurker from Soluhn. He would go to Aventus to confront him on the death of the Web-Watchers, knowing that this would mean his death. Hald's last thought was of Esteele.

Mental Trauma
Hald is traumatized from the death of Esteele, and feels a great sense of responsiblility for the Eternal War as a whole, believing that if He had just somehow seen through the Lurker's untruths, it never would have started.
Intellectual Characteristics
Hald is an intensely curious individual, which led to him stepping into the Void, which led to His meeting with the Lurker. After that meeting, He makes great effort to reign in his curiousity.
Morality & Philosophy
Hald believes that tragedy is one of the most beautiful aspects of life, and that only through it can living beings understand the beauty of other things in reality.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Hald is driven to understand the mysteries of the cosmos, and figure out why the visions that He has will come to pass.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Hald is able to see the distant future, but He can only see tragedies. He can see outcomes of possible actions, if they have a tragic outcome. He can not, however, discern exactly what will happen, or why, only that a great tragedy will result.
Social
Religious Views
Hald believes that the Choirs and the Bands were created by the Cosmic Spider in order to continue the work of creation.
Social Aptitude
Hald is generally a savvy, adept individual in social situations, though He sometimes has a tendency to descend into melancholy, seized by visions.
Mannerisms
Hald's song has a tendency to become choppy and discordant when He gets excited, or is seized by a strong vision.
Speech
Hald speaks eloquently, and formally, with all people.
One of His favorite phrases is "As far as I have seen."
Relationships
History
Aventus relied upon Hald for prophecy of future events for a long time, and especially when the Cosmic War started, relied upon Hald's ability to see tragedy to prevent foolish troop movements and from leaving flanks unprotected.
Relationship Reasoning
The relationship of Hald and Aventus was formed when Aventus admitted that he found Hald's music to be beautiful, and that he was an excellent conductor. From the day they met, Aventus considered Hald a metor, and Hald considered Aventus a sharp student. As time went on, and Aventus grew to be more powerful than Hald, he resented Hald's ability to see and understand the future.
