Tamubar Roo was a mage in the service of the Arcane Advisors to the Court Circle of Katrapetch in the late 31st and 32nd century APC.
Whilst still an apprentice in the Advisors he was assigned the task of entertaining prince Himmat , at his nineth birthday party. According to Volume 4 of Clarise Vabatan's Diary, this was the occasion when he came to the attention of the infamous mage who was at that time, one of the Arcane Wisdoms in the Court Circle.
After the trial and execution of Drithald Unkeld in 3091 APC, he was appointed as the new Senior Magician of Katrapetch by a body consisting of the Raja and the two Arcane Wisdoms, which included Clarise Vabatan who was also the Rani. In her diary, Clarise Vabatan explains why she selected Tamubar Roo for the role, and engineered his selection because she thought him weak and easy to manipulate.
Tamubar stood down from his leadership position on 10th Tuzlle, 3111 APC at a relatively young age and retired from magical work with the Arcane Advisors, dedicating the rest of his life to a much more humble field role in a series of Vassith mills south of the river.
