Sunrock Commonality
The Sunrock Commonality is the legislative body that administers the town of Sunrock and has done so since the restoration of human government in the aftermath of occupation following the Planar Conformation. It consists of sixty elected individuals who are voted into the Commonality in rotating groups of ten members, so that each member comes up for re-election only once every thirty years, a longer term than the Mayor or Mayoress.
Over the years a number of different parties have organised themselves to further their own interests, waxing and waning with time. Sometimes the majority party is supported by the Mayor or Mayoress and sometimes they are opposed but the Commonality does not directly elect the Lord Mayor or Lady Mayoress and must negotiate the legislative program.
