Maeglin Terraformer

Maeglin Terraformers are massive towers containing FTL Communications nodes, Maeglin habitation nodes, and the command center for a massive underground system designed to control planetary biospheres. From inside the installation, a trained operator can influence a planet's wind speeds, temperature, humidity, sea and wind currents, soil nutrients, atmospheric composition, as well as ocean salinity and alkalinity. Those familiar with the fundamentals of biosphere science could therefore influence the development and viability of life on a planet that hosts one.    The inner workings and details of the Terraformers are not well known by Transhumanity. Their central chamber hosts a gigantic pillar of pure energy that supplies power to the complex above, and a Gravity Well is used to transmit users from the control centers to the engineering section below. The Terraformers are autonomously maintained and so do not need repair or maintenance.
