Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Martha has a large build with broad shoulders and chest and wide hips, owing to her skyfolk heritage, though her lofi blood shows through in her height being a little taller than the average skyfolk. She's plump and has thick limbs and a large bust and has light, but easily tanned skin with a slight mottled texture. Her right arm has been replaced by a Soliil-designed prosthetic, attached around ⅔ of the way down her upper arm. The prosthetic was originally a glossy white, but this finish has dulled with wear, and been covered in many stickers.
Apparel & Accessories
Martha is not exactly known for having a coherent fashion sense, but likes loose fitting clothes that give her plenty of room for movement. She typically chooses sleeveless, open sided or short sleeved tops as they interfere less with the joints of her prosthetic, though will opt for longer sleeves in colder weather and use some custom made sheaths to cover the joints, or modify the clothes themselves to keep them off the joints.
She enjoys collecting stickers, sequins and other little things she can use to decorate her prosthetic.

Personal history
Martha Oriole Rose Emberwood Honey-Dekken was born to her mothers, Buddleja and Teasel Honey-Dekken.
She grew up on the south coast of Home's mainland, learning her mothers' trades in beekeeping, textiles and cooking and learning mechanics and engineering on her own. At age 15, she decided of her own accord to start travelling, eventually settling in Dropmount Isle in the Sea of Ondine a few months later, where she would meet Katie May who had moved there a few years prior.
For a while she flitted between odd jobs, but she eventually settled into a position working in the warehouse of a local dock. This kept her occupied for several years, before losing the position after an on-the-job accident resulted in her losing her arm. She joined Katie who was working in an attached office afterwards. While at the office, she managed to obtain a Soliil-built prosthetic arm that a local surgeon had come into possession of.
The office job didn't suit her well, being rather dull for her tastes in comparison to her previous role. Despite this, she continued on until another opportunity came up. In the wake of the dismantling of the seafolk monarchy, a rather exhausted Maya East reached their island to deliver the news, she was in dire need of a helping hand, being a crew of 1 on a ship that'd struggle to operate on 2, so Martha and Katie volenteered to help out with the rest of her journey.
While they'd only planned to help for a single voyage, Martha and Katie stayed aboard and became permanent members of the crew.
Employment
Martha originally worked in the warehouse of a dock on Dropmount Isle, before moving into the offices after losing her arm in an accident. She eventually ended up leaving and joining Maya East's crew aboard The Burning Heart along with her partner, Katie May. She works aboard the ship as both the resident cook and mechanic, switching as needed.

Martha has a soft and kind voice, almost always speaking calmly, even if she's excited or stressed. Her voice has a fairly strong accent but she purposely paces her speech so people can follow along. Her soft speech and caring demeanour often lead people to be surprised by her surprisingly dirty sense of humour, strong opinions and openness about "intimate" topics.
