Demographics
Modrons comprise exactly 99% of the city's population at any time. The remaining 1% is composed of a few deities of Lawfulness who have carefully-defined tenancy contracts with Prime, and their attendants.
Government
Prime rules their hivemind from this city, exerting instant, effortless, and complete control over each and every drone.
Defences
Mechanus is protected by high walls patrolled by modrons designated as guards. These guards perform their duty with mechanized efficiency, leaving no blind spots. Magical and martial defense mechanisms are combined in perfect symmetry for any foolish enough to attempt a lawless entry.
Infrastructure
Modrons travel to do Prime's work by several thoroughly-optimized systems. Pneumatic tubes send them hurtling to their destinations at speeds even a zephyr in full flight could not hope to mach. Portals facilitate longer distances.
Because modrons have no need for food or water, zero space is set aside for agriculture, though samples of most plant life in the realms can be found properly catalogued in the appropriate storage chamber.
Assets
An encyclopaedic knowledge base regarding nearly everything in the multiverse is Prime's greatest asset. A close second is the hivemind itself, an army of replicable drones which instantly understand and undertake Prime's every will.
Climate
Mechanus maintains a perfectly steady temperature that, for most temperate-dwelling creatures, registers on the chilly side. It helps with the modrons' cooling systems. There are no weather patterns, as any function that could be filled by wind, precipitation, or other meteorological phenomena is carried out more predictably by the modrons, instead.
