Unfixed
The unfixed include sentient oozes, or doppelgängers. This is a parent species group that involves a series of species that do not have a fixed appearance. It is believed most of these are artifically created by mages. Even doppelgängers seem to have an unusual origin even if they are able to self propogate. They are rarer that Insectoids generally. Some sentient oozes are more unique creatures than a species of their own.
A close relative to the unfixed would be the transformational creatures, who are often lumped in with Beastfolk. These include those infected by some form of lycanthropy, such as werewolves. But also vampires have some transformational elements but are clearly not related to the unfixed.
