Aristeo of Rovna
"As the last surviving member of my family, I want to begin for us a… new reputation. Unfortunately, as soon as my father and mother were killed by those adventurers, a neighboring vassal state gobbled up our lands like it was a roast at a gnomish wedding feast." - Aristeo of RovnaAristeo of Rovna was a nobleman who lived in the Western Commons, the oldest son of House Rovna. In 8082, unbeknownst to him, his family was involved in a plot to assassinate Lord Mallan Wolfram of Brooder's Crossing.
Aristeo's sister, Alda of Rovna, planned to marry Wolfram in order to kill him at his own wedding. Unaware of this, Aristeo heavily opposed the marriage, due to Wolfram's rivalry of House Bernard, an ally of theirs. He could not understand why his family was supporting the marriage. When the plot was foiled by a group of heroes, Aristeo was shocked. He was the only remaining member of his house, and was unable to establish himself as a leader before his family's lands were conquered. The incident caused Aristeo to reflect on his own mannerisms, and he realized he needed to grow up and be humble. He returned to Brooder's Crossing and, as the sole remaining representative of his family, issued a formal apology to Wolfram. Over the following year, Wolfram became a sort of mentor to Aristeo, who also became somewhat liked by the town. In 8083, Wolfram abdicated his rule of Brooder's Crossing and the local province, and chose Aristeo as his successor, having no heirs. Aristeo went on to rebuild some of the city and mitigate the local bandit problem. In 8132, Aristeo passed away after a long rule over Brooder's Crossing. Having grown to be loved by the people, he was given an elaborate funeral.

Social
Social Aptitude
Before his family tried to assassinate Lord Wolfram, Aristeo often acted rude, stuck-up, and immature. He preferred hunting and drinking to the affairs of the nobility. For this reason, he was kept in the dark on what his family was up to.
After most of his family were killed and his lands were lost, Aristeo had a change of heart. He tried to be more responsible and humble, even if there was little he could do about his loss of land.
