Backdraft

Backdraft is a Commander, Third-Class in the Decepticon Revolutionary Army, and he's going to make sure you remember that. He put in as much extra time at his local komsomol as was allowed, and completed all of his assignments beyond requirements in the academy. Unlike Sentinel Minor, Backdraft worked his way up from nothing. But like his Autobot counterpart, Backdraft has great ambitions. He views much of Decepticon political and command structure as redundant and inefficient, and values pragmatism over much of the lofty ideals still espoused by party literature. Backdraft dreams of overthrowing what he describes as the "useless" elements of the Decepticons and re-energizing the bloc to crush the Empire once and for all. The first step in his plan would be discrediting and replacing Kiloton as commander of Blackrock Base. Backdraft oversees most operations of the base day-to-day, coordinating the various sectors and checking in on them. He also takes a personal interest in the base's security. He is not, however, cleared to enter the "Dark Unit," which only Kiloton and the designated members of the Research and Development personnel have access to.
