PF2e Player's Handbook

in The Cantara Player's Compendium

When building a character in Cantara, it is strongly recommended that you browse the categories in this Handbook to see what options are available and how they fit in the world. Most official Pathfinder 2e character options are available for play in Cantara, with some exceptions (most notably, there is a limited list of Ancestries to choose from). There are also homebrew options that are unique to this world. As always, if you want to use an official option that isn't presented here, you are welcome to consult your GM.  

Source Books

The Cantara Isles defers to "Remaster" content over any "Legacy" content, unless that Legacy content doesn't have a Remaster replacement. Content from major Legacy source books like Secrets of Magic and Dark Archive are still available for play. New classes and other character options introduced in new books will be added as they come out.

Uncommon and Rare Choices

The Uncommon and Rare choices presented here may not be suitable for all adventures and settings, and therefore must be approved by the GM. Uncommon choices should be allowed in most cases with minor considerations, depending on the adventure. Rare choices on the other hand, may require you to work with the GM to make them fit the setting, or they may not be suitable for the adventure at all.
