Military action

The descacration of Kharak was a military action lead by a powerful Ravilian Wizard that targeted the divine tower of Kharak.
The Tower of Kaharak was constructed near the Jotnar capital, surrounded by large and verdant fields of grass and Farmlands. The Jotnar themselves had half-forgotten its purpose in their cultural decline and only lightly guarded it by their standards.

The tower was deliberately sabotaged in a suicide action, damaging the complex arcane mechanisms beyond repair.
This caused the surrounding area to rapidly become inhospitable and causing mass-starvation, riots and death across the Jotnar capital. Over the following centuries Kharak has turned into a massive desert.
