Divine Towers
The divine towers are magnificent works of arcane craftsmanship, marvels unrivaled in the modern day. They stand spread across the world of Haven where Humans live around them ignorant to their purpose or origin.
Since the downfall of the Jotnar Empire the towers have stood abandoned, still performing their function but slowly falling into disrepair. Some basic maintenance has been performed by orders of human mages but most of the mechanisms are incomprehensible to humans due to their sheer complexity and size. Every tower is also unique in its mechanisms, though there are of course similarities.
Northern Divine Tower: The northern tower is only partially functional, its effects are quite pronounced in the immediate area but it does not reach very far. As a result, the surrounding area is a major breadbasket for the nation of Ravil. The local mage-lords keep it maintained quite well, but it is rumored that they could repair it further but refuse because it would diminish the importance of their held territory.
Central Divine Tower: Also known as the divine tower of Kharak, this tower was deliberately sabotaged by humanity during the War of Tyrants. It is set into permanent overdrive, expelling great amounts of heat and creating devastating storms. It is the reason why the former jotnar capital of Kharak is now buried under the desert of Kharak, tough its effects range far wider, all the way from Jushain into southern Ravil.
Southern Divine Tower: The southern tower is the most intact and functional of all the divine towers and is responsible for the tropical climate of Scyjia. It is located in the mountains that the Winged Serpent calls its home, and thus cannot be approached by humans, so how it is that it still functions so well is a mystery.

Some basic maintenance has been performed by orders of human mages but most of the mechanisms are incomprehensible to humans due to their sheer complexity and size.
