Eastern Kingdoms

Summary

Once part of the ancient empire of Azj’Aqir and later the seat of human civilization, the Eastern Kingdoms is a land of fractured legacies, noble ambitions, and the scars of countless wars. From the haunted ruins of Lordaeron to the gilded spires of Stormwind, this continent is home to the remnants of old power, rising kingdoms, and buried horrors waiting to resurface.

Notable Regions:

  • Tirisfal Glades – Once plagued by rot and shadow, Tirisfal has begun to heal. Following the events of the Forsaken Heritage questline, the Undercity has been cleansed of blight and reopened. Forsaken citizens return to reclaim their home beneath Lordaeron’s ruins, though tensions with neighboring powers persist.
  • Silverpine Forest – A dark, misty forest claimed by the Forsaken and once home to Gilnean outposts. Werewolves and curses still roam freely.
  • Hillsbrad Foothills – Once a fertile human breadbasket, now contested between Forsaken and scattered Alliance holdouts.

The Worgen, led by Genn Greymane and supported by the Alliance, have begun rebuilding within the battered walls of Gilneas City. Forsaken forces were driven out, but political wounds remain fresh and the land bears scars from war and exile.
