The Dawnbringer

In myth, a farmer turned warrior took up a quest to take Prometheus's flame and give light and heat to his cold, dying world. On the brink of failure, the warrior sacrificed himself to create the great sun. The universe saw godhood within him as well as a long-forgotten past in a world before this one, so they rewarded him by making him become one with the great sun and gain the title of The Dawnbringer.
 

Appearance

The Dawnbringer has commonly described as dual-wielding a sickle (symbolizing his past as a farmer) and a sword gifted to him by Prometheus. Besides him is an animal companion: a two-headed dog who he befriended in hell. Finally, worshipers depict him having but one eye, as he lost it when he peeked at the flame while it turned into the sun, burning the eye to a crisp.
 

Symbol

An upside-down, nine-tiered pyramid with a half-circle on top of it and five lines trailing off of the circle. The pyramid is a depiction of hell, representing his journey within it, while the half-eye refers to him missing one.
 

Role

The Dawnbringer had sacrificed his life to bring light back to the world, and his will to protect that light still lives on as he resurrects the sun each morning at dawn, and morns its death in the evening when it sets.
 

Reincarnation

Once Dawnbringer's godhood was removed from the Great Sun by Scias, a child in Urmany was born. His name was Isac Arno Obenslauter, he ran away when he was a teenager to be trained in the ways of the Worshipers of The Dawnbringer and eventually became a member of Fate's Bane.
 

Worshipers

Before his reincarnation, Dawnbringer Worshipers had been a close-knit group who preferred to stay away from other communities. But ever since Isac Obenslauter, worship has begun to spread too much of Urmany in the form of a group of warriors titled the Euclid Guard.
  The Guard members can be identified by the Dawnbringer's Symbol tattooed on their left eyelid. Most work with two singled-handed weapons in their god's honor, but some prefer other weapons.
