The Frostback Mansion
The Frostback Mansion is a home that Kěith Cheonsa and Jack Arric chose to build together as an icegrasp home when need be. However, the construction of the mansion was put on hold after Lisa McKinney, Kěith and Jack's daughter, went missing and grief flooded them.
While the outside of the building is complete, there were plenty of underground rooms being built with a back entrance. However, the construction was stopped and the mansion has remained empty for the past twenty-six years.
Purpose / Function
The original function of the mansion was as a vacation home for Kěith, Jack and their children during the season of icegrasp. But that quickly changed. It now serves as the headquarters of the Ember Rebellion.
Alterations
After the Ember Rebellion is formed once Ignatius Williams took over the Storm Pack, Kěith and Jack take the escapees and hole up in the mansion, where they attempt to add on to the building and increase productivity, where they can eventually craft their own weapons, vehicles, and other technology.
During this, one of the underground rooms was converted into a laboratory and another room, which was for transport storage, was reconfigured into a docking bay, and an average gym room was altered into an elite training room to help the rebels and their new recruits. The security office was even upgraded to include an electrical barrier that acted like a camouflage against transports or spy drones.
Even now, they are still adding onto the mansion, hoping to improve the capabilities of the rebellion.
Architecture
The mansion takes on a gothic appearance with golden lights. The asymmetrical appearance above ground has peaked-roofs and a single tower that contains the security office.
Defenses
Besides an electrical shield that creates camouflage, the mansion has a docking bay with battleships at the ready to take flight against any intruders. There is ground support with drones and androids that man turrets and guard the perimeter.
