Abandoning the Royal District’s luxuries, he joined the Verdant Spear, a Sol-aligned ranger order, where grizzled rangers trained him in tracking, combat, and goblinoid tactics, forging his strength and earning his position as an officer. Two years later, he proved his mettle by saving a Halfling caravan from a goblinoid ambush, a feat that won him his green cloak and his knighthood, marking his transition from noble heir to a protector of Lavonia’s borders against the rising goblinoid threat.   Now 29 in 2487, Roland patrols the northern wilds near Shantytown, his mind heavy with his father’s memory and his swortsword's tally marks a grim record of his vendetta. His dedication to thwarting Chaos has isolated him from his family, particularly his sister, as he embraces a modest lifestyle earned through patrol stipends, rejecting his former station. Whispers of organized goblin marches with a trident symbol fuel his vengence-fueled resolve, driving him to gather intel in the various district and rally other rangers to stay aware of threats, though his tunnel vision against goblinoids sometimes blinds him to the broader struggles of Lavonia’s outcasts, a tension he grapples with as he seeks to fulfill his duty.
