Lesha tofha golraya phol Yado'zhd infatazina, Taga kankon dasena krobekwa w'sha shasa, zela!"- mission statement of the Zealots.   literal translation: "Lord God, allow us to go and clean the heavens and to defeat evil where we shall find it, be with us where we shall journey and help us convert them who want to repent of their evilness and want to serve you. let the glory be Yours forever, to convert and conquer we shall, So be it!".     The flag of the Zealots is the Angellonian star with two swords which represents their zeal and their ability to fulfill it.

Composition

Manpower

The Zealots have around 300 members in total so far. but only one Zealot is sent out for missions but sometimes depending on the mission four Zealots are sent out to the mission and only on the most important religious missions are eight sent.   their numbers may be small but their deadly skill in combat compensates for it and and their tactics are strange and unknown, even to the General and his Commanders.

Equipment

The Zealots carry a spin blade, wrist blade, Aetherium Rifle and a telescopic modification Angellonian Spear made out of Aetherium silver. they also carry a med-kit to for damage that won't heal on its own. they are also equipped with Zealot armor that is said to be far stronger than normal Angellonian armor and they wear their religious apparel as well with their armor. However not always, as it is mostly the standard as the Zealots carry whatever weapon they are mastered in and bring that with them on their missions.

Weaponry

The most infamous weapon of the Zealots is the spin blade: a underhand bladed baton like weapon that can slice through even the thickest armor and can easily gut it's targets. the wrist blade is a sacred weapon used only by the most skilled warriors and is considered disrespectful and unholy for any Non-Angellonians to use this sacred weapon. their spears have a telescopic modification which makes it easy to carry and is very deadly in the hands of a skilled "spear master". Their Aetherium rifle comes with a telescope attachment and a long range modification to the gun and ammo itself, which is meant to kill from afar and or through barriers/armor.

Vehicles

The Zealots use their own unique starfighters which comes with cloaking technology and Aetherium missiles. they use these starfighters to travel across the heavens to their destination, it is said to be faster than a star cruiser or fathership. When they land on a planet, they tend to land them on a cliffside or within a large body of water such as a lake with it cloaked since it makes it harder for the inhabitants to get to them.

Structure

The Zealots only take orders from the Zealot grandmaster, the General and the priesthood themselves but all of their orders are futile compared to the commands of "The Divine Father".

Tactics

They are ghosts, using fear and picking off targets one by one or they storm the target(s) and complete their mission in a stealthy manner (if possible).   one occasion from a surviving Tricerakopian warrior who manned a Battlecruiser ship of 5,000 men, tells the tale of how nearly all of the crew was killed by only one zealot warrior who had infiltrated the ship and slaughtered the crew with only their sword and hand to hand combat prowess. Another legend comes from a Keelp revolutionary who claims that one Zealot recruit could destroy an entire brigade of soldiers without much training.

Training

The Zealots are mainly trained from a very early age and are expected to finish their training before they reach their 400th birthday.   They begin their training by first learning faith, loyalty and respect Then they learn to withstand pain and suffering, and to control their emotions and to think clearly always Then they are taught to fight and the quickest way to kill an enemy and lastly they are given a final test where they are given questions of their religion whether or not they are well studied and then they are sent on a quest; going to fight in a battle, preaching to a pagan race, community service, ect. as long as they put themselves in danger for their faith. If they complete their test then they are given the official title of Zealot and can then earn the title of grandmaster which may take an entire lifetime or possibly never.

Logistics

Logistical Support

The Zealots are trained to fast for long periods of time with most being able to master fasting to last themselves up to eight months at a time. They are provided materials from specialized Fhedadite mine camps or enlist specialized and trusted Fhedadite weapon and armor smiths to make their gear.   They tend to carry bread and water to eat and they forage for any meat and fruit from any planets they are sent to and then they report their experiences of new foods to the others when they return.

Auxilia

They tend to rely only on themselves and rarely do they ever call for assistance. The only time a zealot needed to call for reinforcements was when there was an infestation of a strange insect like race of creatures that made the entire planet they dwelled on into their hive and a Fathership was called to fire an anti-planet bomb causing it to explode the entire planet.

Upkeep

The zealots go out and hunt for their own food and are usually allowed to take resources without having to ask to make their own gear. However sometimes they allow specific Angellonians from Yosar and Fhedamael to come and make repairs or decorate their dwellings and to make their clothes, weapons and armor and other tools they use.

Recruitment

They have to be of the Spartian tribe and extremely young, who would be raised in the temple trained by the Zealot Grandmaster. They only recruit males and it is more likely to be enlisted if one were to have a close relative who is/was a zealot themselves. The Grandmaster when needing to find new members will meditate, praying and build an altar and wait until "The Divine Father" answers the Grandmaster and shows him where to find the new recruits and then he will send his highest ranked students to retrieve them if they accept.

History

They were founded after "The Fallen One" had took over the temple and the people, when a group of Spartianians; the oldest sons of Spartia joined Zhedakar, Jhedakar, Zhedamael, Fhedamael, Khosar, Yosar, Moartia and Spartia to fight "The Fallen One" at the temple. For their part in defeating "The Fallen One", they were congratulated by the High Priest Spartia and those warriors would then found the order of the Zealots to protect the temple and the people of the Empire from such a threat if it were to ever come again...   A famous historical battle they fought in was during the Holy Wars when they would fight against the many religions across the galaxy, which also took many of their members to an early death as many other elite factions during the war.

Historical loyalties

They are only loyal to their God and are very highly extremely zealous. During the great revolt the Zealots went forth and killed many high ranking rebels and their collaborators, supporters and those in authority who didn't help fight against the rebels. And after the revolt was defeated, the Zealots handpicked a set of new tribe chieftains for each of the tribes to prevent any further rebellions. There were many chieftains or other high ranking individuals who were corrupt throughout time and the Zealots would hear of their evils and execute them and replace them.
