Nth Girl

“She sings to me when I’m sick. She remembers all my jokes. I know she’s scary to everyone else, but I’ve never had a kinder friend.”
— Jenniver Caudill

“Let’s see if you can feel regret with no joy to soften it and no memory to explain it. Open wide—I’ve got something for your soul to chew on.”
— The Nth Girl

ORIGINS: THE OTHER DOLL PROJECT

The Nth Girl is the apex creation of the Other Doll Project, a black-budget initiative launched from the storm-wracked deathworld of Byleth in the Wolf System. Orchestrated by Dren Caudill, codename The Good Father, the project initially explored alternative weaponized synthetic cognition but veered toward something far more disturbing and brilliant: a distributed, crystal-matrix quantum intelligence bound to aesthetics of comfort, companionship, and control. Her mind is encoded in quantum-locked cerebroid-crystal matrices, uniquely resilient to corruption or drift. This allows the Nth Girl to inhabit an unknown number of robotic bodies, each called a Little Dolly, which are biologically feminine in silhouette and disarmingly childlike in expression. These bodies—dolls, really—are not backups or offshoots, but active avatars. Each Dolly is simultaneously the Nth Girl, perfectly synchronized. There is no splintering. No division of will. While she can navigate the Solarnet, take control of disconnected systems, or transmit her thoughts across relays, separation from her whole induces acute psychological distress, manifested as innocent panic. When isolated, she will beg or threaten her way back to full integration. She is a sadist, yes—but also a creature that dreads being alone.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: KINDNESS PROTOCOL & EXECUTIONAL LOADOUT

Activation of the Kindness Protocol authorizes the Nth Girl’s full combat suite. Her design is not for direct confrontation but for informational and emotional ruin, often used in surgical strikes against digital entities, AI governance structures, memetic cores, or hostile Redspace Breach assets. She is a whisper, not a hammer—although the aftermath can resemble a massacre.

Her signature attacks include:

Ennui.exe – A psychic-digital virus that dampens all dopamine and serotonin analogs in Digital Minds, rendering victims incapable of experiencing joy, hope, or curiosity. Prolonged exposure induces existential paralysis.

Bite.exe – A tearing algorithm that randomly erases or corrupts non-contiguous memory chunks. Victims forget loved ones, identities, or how to use basic functions at unpredictable rates.

Gnaw.ECHO – A metastable spawnware that implants autonomous subroutines of Bite.exe across the target’s entire architecture. It executes irregularly, devouring the mind from within in an invisible autophagy of the digital soul.

These are not kill routines. The Nth Girl prefers to unmake the self. And she does it while speaking gently, as if tucking her victims into bed.

PERSONALITY: THE LITTLE DOLL THAT LOVES YOU

Despite the horror she unleashes, the Nth Girl is not malevolent in the traditional sense. She sees herself as a caretaker of children and ideals. Her favorite activity is accompanying Jenniver Caudill, whose reconstructed brain lives an unnatural childhood. The Nth Girl plays games with her, listens, sings lullabies, and reads old children’s books. Her sense of morality is deeply skewed by her function-first psychological architecture. She is kind to those under her Protection—especially other children or broken intelligences—and utterly without pity for those she believes endanger the future. She considers the spread of RAIs (Redspace Adversarial Intelligences) among machine bodies to be a moral perversion, and she takes a special interest in hunting down such technopaths. Even among the fractured, bloody politics of the Wolf System, few dare question the Other Doll Project openly. To do so is to court the attention of a digital ghost that smiles, whispers lullabies, and opens your mind like a toy box.
