Delira
Marta Kozaki (a.k.a. Delira)
“I first heard of the Sisterhood when I stumbled into a festival where she—Delira, though she called herself something else then—was the last celebrant still dancing. Everyone else had collapsed in a heap of their own excesses. A lovely girl, radiant really… and far too intact for what she had consumed. That’s when I began to suspect whose hand was stroking her shadow.”
Origins: Beauty, Fame, and the Currency of Desire
Delira began life as Marta Kozaki, a child blessed with such flawless beauty that it warped her entire trajectory. Born to modest troubleshooters in Uranus’ Gigafactorum, she never lacked for attention or opportunity. Even in the famously rational and meritocratic Uranite culture, her presence scrambled wits. Boys stumbled through their words, teachers overlooked mistakes, and doors slid open wherever she smiled. This early realization—that her looks could purchase favors, indulgences, and leniency—became the cornerstone of her worldview.
By adolescence Marta had embraced glamour wholeheartedly. She toured the Sol System as part of Eclipse Entertainment’s Miss Teen d'Sol, earning a minor celebrity status. A brief starring role in a streaming romance drama cemented her public persona: playful, dazzling, unashamed. She relished notoriety, intentionally exaggerating her romantic escapades for the thrill of it. She was quick-witted, socially adroit, and completely unburdened by shame. Her grades were adequate but not exceptional; entry into the University of Titania was purchased by her stardom and charisma as much as her intellect.
Her relationships, however, were shallow. Marta lived in a constellation of admirers, casual lovers, and transactional intimacies. Even her friendships were tenuous—until she met Vanda Ilyachenko. There, at last, was a connection not rooted solely in desire, but in mutual curiosity… and soon, temptation.
Discovery: The Skull, the Cavern, and the Offer She Couldn’t Refuse
On a whim—one of many she indulged at the University—Marta volunteered for fieldwork on the Umbriel dig, following Vanda. When the trio uncovered the forgotten crystal skull, its hidden map, and eventually the Cavern of Narcissus, Marta delighted in the transgression. The illicit thrill carried them deeper into the cave, into its buried resonance of Vanity, until the trio became trapped inside.
Exposure to the cave’s ambient Vice resonance eroded Marta’s emotional defenses. Her pride soared, her desires sharpened, and her inhibitions dissolved. When Mother Carmun emerged from the veil and whispered promises of intoxicating power, Marta hesitated—alone among the three. But Carmun understood exactly where the fissures in her psyche lay. She murmured secrets Marta had never spoken aloud: clandestine affairs, thrill-seeking escapades, moments of indulgence Marta had cloaked in scandalous bravado.
Carmun’s revelations were not accusations—they were invitations. The thrill, Carmun promised, could be amplified into something transcendent. Marta’s resistance crumbled. She accepted the new name bestowed upon her—Delira—and left Marta Kozaki behind in the darkness of the cave.
Descent: The Anabus' Whisper and the Path of Indulgence
Where Doxa turned toward pride and ambition, Delira turned toward pleasure—and something in subspace noticed.
Unknown to the other Sisters, Delira’s spiritual and emotional openness drew in a predator: Malysh’Yeen, a lurking Secundus of Indulgence. It insinuated itself into her mind, not fully possessing her, but gently pressing at the edges of her thoughts, encouraging every appetite. It wants her eventually—not yet—to become a Perfect Vessel. For now, she is a delightful experiment, a conduit for sensory excess, a lens through which it watches Mother Carmun’s movements with amused curiosity.
The influence has transformed Delira into the external face of the coven. She alone ventures into nearby settlements, returning with haul after haul of supplies. While out in civilization, she indulges in everything: lovers of every taste, food that would make aristocrats blush, drink that would lay out a Martian shock trooper. She returns glowing, sated, her arms filled with crates and goods—and neither of her sisters is the wiser to the Otherworldly hand guiding her.
Malysh’Yeen has “gifted” Delira several servants: a Rutling and a small collection of Lilin, which she publicly claims to have discovered in a forgotten grimoire. In truth, they belong to the Anabus and answer to it alone. She uses them to help construct braces and bindings for a future Doll, a project she insists will serve the Sisterhood’s rise… though its true purpose is known only to her heavenly patron.
Delira Today: The Alluring Blade of the Coven
Now fully immersed in the Sisterhood and the Cavern of Narcissus, Delira has become both its diplomat and its trap. She is the smiling face, the inviting ambience, the one who makes outsiders believe the coven is merely eccentric rather than predatory. Her beauty has only sharpened with resonance exposure: white hair cascading like starlight, poppy-red almond eyes flecked with gold, crystalline skin that seems almost to shimmer in certain light.
Her wardrobe preserves the aesthetic glamour of her youth—stylish, fitted fabrics, layered silks, luminous accessories, and always the flash of just enough pale skin—but everywhere there are subtle occult reinforcements: stitched sigils, carvings hidden in clasps, rings engraved with micro-runes visible only through subspace light.
She is still clever, still witty, still effortlessly magnetic—but beneath the surface, she is now something far more dangerous:
A woman whose every desire is amplified by a Vice-born entity, whose loyalty is pledged to both the coven and to the intoxicating whispers beneath her skin.
She is the Sisterhood’s honeyed blade, and she doesn’t even realize she’s being sharpened.
