Welcome! This is the English version of my worldbuilding articles. Some of them are still waiting to be translated, and the current English texts were created with the help of Copilot. This world is home to the Frost People, who lived at the South Pole many centuries ago. A societal catastrophe forced them to flee. After years of hardship and wandering, they found a new home at the North Pole. The Frost People believe that their relatives in the South perished long ago.
At the North Pole, they built a new life and lived peacefully for a long time. A few decades ago, the Frost People created the Golems— designed to serve as laborers and carriers. Some warriors abused them as mindless training partners. This, among other things, led to the Golems' rebellion.
A war broke out—fierce, devastating, and merciless. The Frost People fought with everything they had, but the Golems were superior: stronger, more numerous, and tireless. In the end, the Frost People stood on the brink of defeat. The Golems could have won. But they surrendered. Without explanation, they withdrew and decreed that the Frost People may claim the cold island zone up to the Ice Boundary as their own. Everything beyond that belongs to the Golems and must not be entered.
That was several decades ago. The Frost People have rebuilt everything; life goes on. The story that unfolds here begins during the heroes’ time as recruits and is meant to become an epic campaign—about humanity, friendship, vengeance, and despair.
