The Mortal Ring

Also called the Black Ring, the Ring of Blood, or Vidal's Ring, The Mortal Ring is easily the most feared item in all of Tesia and beyond. It holds the power to kill an immortal being, including the gods themselves.

Crafted by Vidal, God of Blood, its sole purpose was to aid Bebedon in capturing and killing Kasmy. Once fastened around the neck of any creature, the creature is rendered severely weakened, going so far as to turning immortal beings into mortals for as long as the ring remains attached. The victim is unable to remove the ring from itself by any means other than death.

After its use against Kasmy and his children, Kasmy split the ring into three pieces and hid them across Efthemia. These pieces were eventually reassembled to defeat Abihail and turn him into a Human. Afterward, the ring was once again split, and over the course of one thousand years, was finally completely destroyed by the wizard Calacabri.
