Dragon
Dragons are the great incarnations of the essence of the world. Massive and majestic, there are few creatures in Tesia mightier than dragons.
All dragons trace their ancestry to the continent of Kai'Diin and to the twin dragon gods, Jikk'Sha'Unn. Dragons found elsewhere on Tesia are those who have fled their homeland, usually to avoid performing the Returning, or they are the children of such dragons.
Types of Dragons
Dragons, as beings born of concept, can manifest as almost anything. However, highly specific dragon types are rare, and they generally manifest as more generic types. These levels of specificity are classified as Prime, Branch, and Exotic.
Prime
Prime types are, by far, the most common draconic forms, often representing a myriad of concepts.
Red
Red dragons breath dark, flaming breath that sears all living things to the bone. Their backs are covered in small, spiny ridges all the way down to the tail, and they typically have two short tusks jutting from their jaws. They're often found making homes near volcanic activity or calderas.
Blue
Blue dragons breath sizzling, boiling water that scalds and bubbles flesh. Their wings are smooth and stiff, allowing for use as fins in the water. They often make their homes near or in lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and other natural sources of water.
Green
Green dragons breath asphyxiating, caustic gas. Long tendrils droop from their faces. They often live near forests and are commonly found to make magnificent gardens.
Yellow
Yellow dragons breath crackling lightning, calling it from the screaming sky. Jagged horns protrude from all over their bodies. They often live on high mountaintops.
White
White dragons breath ice and snow, calling forth the winter's wind. Their bodies are sleek and powerful. They're often found making dens in the snow or within icy caves.
Black
Black dragons breath acid, eating through nearly any material. They are large and imposing, striking fear into most creatures. They are most at home in swamps, deep caves, and brooding over the ruins of the dead.
Gold
Gold dragons exhale a dancing, golden flame that toasts creatures near instantly. Their scales gleam in the sun so brightly that most creatures that look upon them are temporarily blinded.

Branch
Branch types are those that are much less common than Prime types, usually expressing more specific concepts. Many are considered subtypes of a Prime type.
Blood
Light
Light dragons are a peculiar type among dragons. Their breath exudes as a beam of searing light, much like a laser. They are said to be able to see all invisibility, as well as gaze past the curve of the world.
Shadow
Shadow dragons are terrifying foes. With the ability to turn invisible at will, they are the stealthiest dragons by far. They breath deep purple flames.
Exotic
It is hotly debated by academics with very little to do what exactly should classify as an Exotic type. Typically, it is those that only one known specimen has been observed or recorded.
Mind
Mind dragons are possibly the most powerful physic beings on Tesia. When they exhale, they conjure psionic blasts that can stun nearly any creature. They rarely fight with their claws or teeth, instead preferring to remain still as they effortlessly liquify their foes' consciousnesses.
Sound
Sound dragons emit destructive sound waves from their mouths. They may create ear-piercing shrieks or rumbling booms, both of which are known to be quite debilitating. The beat of their wings is stronger than almost any other dragon.
Doom
Doom dragons fight their enemies not in the present, but in the near future. Their bites and swipes appear to do very little damage upon impact. However, their exhalations emit a sickening energy that causes the full effects of all attacks they have made to immediately be inflicted upon their opponents.
