Abihail
Often called the Jealous God, Abihail was a great scourge upon Efthemia since its birth. Despite his moniker, he is not a Deity.
Origin
Spawned as a Demon Lord of The Gnashing Abyss, Abihail was reviled by the other demons, as his appearance was far too close to that of a mortal. He was beautiful, and beauty is a cardinal sin in the Abyss. Shortly after his birth, he was exiled by several other Demon Lords, being ripped from the plane into Chaos, where he drifted.
After an unclear amount of time, Abihail emerged on the Abyss' neighbor plane, Schorekos. The king of the Citadel, Krelvinlaw, saw him for what he was, and knew the power a demon under his command would grant. He adopted Abihail as Prince. Many years passed in which the devils did not know their Prince's true nature, and Chaos had scrubbed Abihail's memory clean. However, his reign ended when the treacherous Juntterqual discovered his secret and outed him as a demon to all of the Citadel. A hellish coup stole Abihail from his throne, and once again he was thrown into Chaos.
Emerging on the doorstep of The Endless Prison, Chaos having twisted his being into near unrecognizability, the Prison Wardens saw fit to lock Abihail away as an abomination. Left to stew in misery for years, Chaos roiled within him, his hate and despair and longing grafting themselves to his soul. He was hardly a demon, nor was he a devil. He knew himself to be only a reviled thing worthy of nothing but suffering.
Arrival on Efthemia
After his years of imprisonment, he broke. Unusual powers erupted from him, and he escaped his confinement with ease. For the third time, he entered Chaos, though this time willingly. He finally awoke on Efthemia, his memories once again despoiled by his journey. There Kasmy found him, saw his strange and befuddled being, and pitied it. Kasmy told Abihail he was one of his new creations, born with Efthemia. Discovering the immense power within himself, Abihail aided the people of the land in building Avak, the continent's first city, and a monument to its god. Over time he grew more and more devoted to Kasmy, and wished to be like him. He asked for a piece of his godlike power of creation, so that he too could create such beautiful things.
However, Kasmy knew Abihail's being, and feared what such a creature would do with such strength. In this moment of fear, he rejected Abihail, spurning him as a jealous and greedy creature. This mistake was the beginning of Kasmy's woes for millennia to come.
